I learn every day still from the clients we work within both the design and corporate arena on factors to take into consideration for the well being of the specialized projects and the people that occupy these spaces. The experiences I had were invaluable and necessary for me to understand what type of business I wanted mine to become.
I worked for a few other galleries before opening art studio 101. If you had to start over, what would you have done differently? We hand hold the project until installation to ensure the vision and expectations were met. We take into consideration the client, the end user, as well as the aesthetics. I am proud that we consider each and every project with the same amount of respect and detail. So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the artstudio 101 ltd. I have been blessed with very talented people that surround me daily at work as well as wonderful clients so the road has been mostly smooth… and we have gained strength and knowledge from the bumps. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you? – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. After working for other galleries in the design industry I was determined to open up a boutique style consulting firm that dealt mainly with local artists and was very hands-on with the client. So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
